Followistic closure announcement
Dear customers and partners of Followistic,
You may have noticed that it got quiet around here lately and there’s a reason that we’d like to share with you today.
The pandemic has been hard on everyone, and in our case, irrevocably so. With businesses and investors focused on making it through Covid, all our efforts to secure funding have been unsuccessful. As we ran out of money we had to let our team, and Followistic came to a standstill.
This uncertainty required us to be realistic. We took a break and decided to keep ourselves busy with other projects that paid the bills. Coming back to it, we had to question the real need for our product, and the odds of getting enough funding and customers in the near future to keep us running. We realized that our solution was just not essential in the current landscape.
It was an incredibly hard decision to make after all the effort to build up the company, but we believe it’s the right one. And now, it’s time to move on.
We’re beyond grateful for everything we learned and accomplished, all the support we received and the trust people put into us. The long days and late nights, highs and lows.
Thank you to our team and all our customers, users, partners, investors. It’s been a fantastic experience.
We’ll keep the system up and running until September 1st, after which we’ll delete all data. This means:
- If you’re a Publisher, you’ll have until the above date to extract any data you’d like to keep.
- If you’re a Subscriber to any Publisher, you can rest assured that all data will be deleted following the 1st of September.
